En ocasiones puedo llegar a ser tan friki que pongo demasiada atención en los soundtracks y los score de la mayor parte de las pelis que veo, no sólo de las que me gustan.

Underworld (2003) tiene un soundtrack ni bueno ni malo, quizá un poco anodino. Sin embargo, hubo un par de canciones que según yo, destacan a todas luces: Suicide note interpretada por Johnette Napolitano, la ex-cantante de Concrete Blonde, y Bring me the disco king del oh gran guana David Bowie.

La historia de esta canción es un poco peculiar: primero fue grabada para el álbum Black Tie White Noise en 1993 pero no se incluyó. Despúes se consideró para el álbum Earthling en 1997. Por fin en 2003 fue re-grabada y finalmente incluida en el álbum Reality. Posteriormente fue remezclada por Danny Lohner, ex-bajista y tecladista de Nine Inch Nails, para el soundtrack de Underworld que fue lanzado el 2 de septiembre de 2003. En el remix participaron también Maynard James Keenan, Milla Jovovich, Josh Freese y John Frusciante.

Esta versión es la que más me enganchó... Podía escucharla una y otra vez y vuelta a lo mismo :P Me resultaba irresistible esa nostalgia salpicada por un deseo de lo que pudo ser y no fue...
